Ready to make your shop your own?
Your storefront is often the first thing buyers see.
Adding photos and a little information about yourself can help people feel more connected to your work and more confident about buying from you.
Where to start
To set up a shop on Trove Market, start by adding details that will help buyers learn more about you and what you make.
1. Get ready
Gather:
- Your shop name
- A profile photo, logo, or image
- A banner image
- A few sentences about you and what you make
2. Choose a store name (if you haven’t already)
Not sure what to call your shop? Start with a simple name that shows what you make or reflects your style. You can always change it later.
3. Add a profile photo
Buyers often enjoy seeing who’s behind a shop. A photo of yourself or something you make is a great place to start.
4. Add a banner image
Think of this as the welcome sign for your shop. A photo of something you make is a great place to start. (Recommended size: 1200 × 400 (3:1 ratio). Keep file under 5 MB. PNG is best, but JPG/JPEG also works.)
We’ve created easy-to-use templates that you can customize for your storefront. Follow the instructions below to get started.
- Open the Canva template. We’ve done the design work for you. Simply open the template and make it your own.
- Upload your image. Click Uploads on the left side, then click Upload Files and choose your image. Choose a product photo or image that represents your shop. Once it loads, drag it into the photo placeholder area.
- Add your shop name. If you’d like, add a short sentence about what you make. Delete any text you do not need.
- Download your design. Once you’re happy with it, click Share in the top right corner, then click Download. Choose PNG as the file type. Then, click Download again.
- Upload it to Trove. Head back to your shop and upload your new banner.
5. Write a short About section
Share a little about yourself, what you make, and why you enjoy creating it. A few honest sentences can help buyers feel more connected to your work.
Not sure what to write? Try answering just one question:
- What do you enjoy making?
- How did you get started?
- What inspires you?
- What do you hope people will like most about your products?
Remember: Your shop doesn’t have to be perfect. You don’t need a logo, professional photos, or a big brand to get started. What matters most is helping buyers understand who you are and what you create.
